Hudki is still in pre-beta. Hudki is available today to users as is, and users are welcome to try it out and provide feedback and input. Please report any instability or bugs that you might find and we will fix it immediately. We would also be greatful for any feedback that you can provide.
FAQs
1. Are the results 100% accurate?
We attempt to be as accurate as possible with our results. We are working on making our algorithm as fool proof as possible. But there can be some errors. Here you can help us by providing feedback and the team will take corrective action, if needed.
2. Why do I have to sign up?
You do not have to signup if you only intend to use Hudki to search for existing information. If you need Hudki to keep a lookout you will have to provide your email id. For sign up we only need your your email id and location. You can also use your facebook login.
3. Why cant I query by simply typing in text, like I do for any other search engine?
We acknowledge the barrier for the user in expressing his need in the form expected today. We will attempt to make this process as simple and painless as possible, but allowing the user to enter free form text would not be possible in the near future. Hudki is an engine that attempts to do "precise" search and trying to "guess" what the user wants will dilute this.
4. Does Hudki collaborate with all the sites which are showing in the search results?
Hudki is a search engine and follows all the etiquette of a search engine. We do not collaborate with each of the sites we search. Hudki will respect the sites ROBOT.txt and will not crawl the site if the site does not wish it. As a searh engine the goal of Hudki is to direct the user to the source site to complete the transaction. We will never show the contact details of the seller in the case of used cars for example.
5. How can I get my site added to the list that Hudki searches?
Currently we do not have any automated means of adding a site into our search pile. We will come up with this capability soon. In the meanwhile you can send a mail to contact.us@hudki.com and we can work with you to get your information into Hudki.
